Requirements Management Courses

This course covers the diagramming skills required for Business Analysts. All diagrams described in the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® V2.0) are reviewed. Taking this course is an excellent way to prepare for the Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) designation.

Requirements management is more than just writing Use Cases. This course gives a comprehensive overview of requirements best practices. Included are hints for writing effective and unambiguous requirements, writing a powerful project Vision, and how to write Use Cases using the industry best practice approach.
This course counts towards 15 hours of Professional Development Units (PDUs) for the IIBA Certification.

Use Cases are known to be the most effective way to document requirements. This course gives you the essentials to write clear and unambiguous requirements that are essential for Users, Developers, Testers and Technical Writers. We also include practical tips and traps to avoid, based upon our years of experience.

Many system solutions are quite similar. In this course, you are introduced to a number of use case patterns and blueprints for common problems. You will explore how the same problem can be modelled in different ways, and what those differences communicate. In particular, the relationships “extends”, “includes” and “generalised” are explored.
